The Taranaki Coastal Five isn’t your standard “run in a straight line and hope for the best” kind of event. This is five epic races across two action-packed days – giving you the chance to complete a marathon distance (42.2km) in a whole new way.

The Five Events:
Coastal Half – 21.1km
Pukeiti Climb – 10km
Pukekura Park – 5km
Lake Mangamahoe – 4.5km
Shoe Clinic Mile – 1.61km

From lung-busting climbs to cruisy lakeside laps, each course showcases the absolute best of New Plymouth and Taranaki. You’ll run with the mighty Taranaki Maunga watching on, cruise the iconic Coastal Walkway, explore Pukekura Park, power through Pukeiti Gardens and circle stunning Lake Mangamahoe.

It’s scenic. It’s gritty. It’s unforgettable.
